Photography is so important to me because it documents places, people, and time. Every time I travel anywhere I take pictures of what I see, of my surroundings. I'm also like any other mother, I take the billionth picture of my children doing some wacky but it is all important because it is full of memories when you look back at them. No matter what quality camera you have, always try to take them best pictures around you wherever you go. I'm not talking about the self portraits either, (lol) but of something that catches your eye. You'll always have a memory attached to it whenever you look back at it.
I love horses, I think they are so beautiful and majestic and this horse was stunning. He had these eerie blue eyes that I've never seen on a horse before.
I like that in this picture the dog looks like it is bowing down to the horse. I think really he was teasing him.
This is a restaurant that is directly in front of my parents home (they have really good menudo) and while I was sitting on my parents porch, the sky along with the lit house looked so cool. You never know when an opportunity to take a picture presents itself.
This big guy was the daddy horse of all the wild horses around the whole town. That's pretty much how close I was able to get to him before being stared down...
So I had been taking quite a bit of photos of these wild horses around my parents property and none of the horses seemed to want me there but this one horse came all the way up to me and allowed me to pet her for a while. I think she wanted a close up :-)
Leave it to my Joey to find something funny to do with some seeds that grew on a tree in my parents yard.
